About
A league that built its own front office
Garden Heights Community is a competitive basketball league in New Jersey. Everything from the draft to the box score runs on software the league built for itself.
Why this exists
Most rec leagues live in a group chat and a spreadsheet. Scores get lost, nobody agrees on who led the league in scoring, and a great game from two seasons ago exists only in the memory of the people who were there.
Garden Heights runs differently. Games are scored live, play by play. Finalising a game writes a box score that stands as the record. Careers accumulate. A rookie season is still there when you are in your fifth one — and so is the argument about whether that shot beat the buzzer.
The platform is not a product for sale. It is the league’s own front office: built for its members, funded by the league, and carrying no advertising.

What the platform does
Everything below is live today, in use every game night.
Live scoring
Every game is scored play by play from the sideline. Scores, fouls, timeouts and substitutions push to every watching device in real time — through two halves, overtime, and sudden death if it comes to that.
Box scores and career stats
Finalising a game writes a full box score. Per-game averages, season splits, career totals, plus-minus and league percentiles are kept for every player, every season.
Drafts
A live draft room with a pick clock, a personal queue and a running draft log. Teams are built in the room, not in a spreadsheet.
Trades and waivers
Propose a trade, negotiate it, and have the commissioner approve it. Roster moves, waiver claims and registrations all follow the same approval trail.
Film Room
An automated report writes up your season from your own numbers — what you do well, what to work on. Generated by an AI model from recorded statistics, never from opinion.
Media and highlights
Game photos and video, tagged to the players in them, so a clip finds its way onto the right profile instead of disappearing into a group chat.
League Pulse
A feed for announcements, results and the arguing that follows them, plus direct and group messages between members.
Awards
Player of the Game through to Most Improved, recorded against the season and shown on the player card that earned it.
Built for the players
No advertising, no trackers, no data sold to anyone. The platform exists to run one league well, and it is paid for by the league itself.
Joining the league
Create an account, fill in your player profile, and you enter the free-agent pool for the upcoming season. A commissioner handles registration and roster placement from there. You will sign the league waiver before you play.
